Philosophy.
I have been enjoying Herman Bavinck’s Essays on Religion, Science, and Society recently. In the first essay, Philosophy Of Religion (Faith), Bavinck addresses the philosophies of Kant and Rousseau, and the effects of the mystical/rational dichotomy found therein:
However, all these orientations, the ethical and mystical as well as the speculative, suffer from a significant one-sidedness. [...]

Culture.
Vol.94 of the Mars Hill Audio Journal contains an interview with Andy Crouch on Christian culture making. Covenanters.
Along with a love of theology and philosophy, I enjoy reading history, and because I am discovering the Covenanters and Scottish Presbyterianism for the first time, I want to make sure I have a firm grasp of the historical context within which these people lived and wrote. As always, Google is your best friend in [...]
